Carlos Duran graduated from the Haggai Institute's Advanced Leadership Training Program in Singapore. He has been leading small home churches and running leadership training seminars for many years. Since 2001, he has been Director of the Online Bible College's Spanish Campus (also called Colegio Biblico Online), which now has more than 5000 students. Carlos is based in Montevideo, Uruguay, with his wife Caren and their three children, Melisa, Matias and Pablo.

Caren Almeida graduated from the Haggai Institute's Advanced Leadership Training Program in Singapore, and since then has accrued many years of experience in teaching and leading small groups. Since 2001, together with her husband, Carlos, she has played a major role in the establishment of the Online Bible College's Spanish Campus and in the coordination of leadership training seminars.
